New Additions
It's been almost three years - three years! - since I've updated this diary. I suspect few people continue to check this site, and that's okay. Nevertheless, I feel I should post the newest development in my family.

I am now the proud mother of two handsome boys, and couldn't be more content. Our family is complete, and it feels really, really good.
Over the past three years, I worked as a social worker in an inpatient psychiatric unit for about 15 months. I obtained my LCSW, and now work for the local VA clinic. For the most part, I enjoy my job - sometimes it's very hard, but usually very rewarding.
Husband and I are still doing well. We have our difficult days (or weeks, or months), and parenthood has certainly placed additional stress on us. But we're making it through.
I don't know if I'll be updating this diary in the future, but I felt the need to update tonight, if only to introduce Ben to the world and to create a little closure. It's funny... updating feels familiar, and yet foreign at the same time. Like a favorite sweater I've outgrown - comfortable, but not really something I can wear anymore. So I suppose we'll see if I update again.
Overall, life is good. I'm happy. And I wish happiness for all of you, too.
